No matter if you’re up for some holiday selfies under the sea, or an underwater photo session, AquaTech will help you take your underwater shots with an iPhone. The company has released the AxisGo system, a waterproof housing that will turn your iPhone into an underwater rig with a lens, a grip and a few other accessories.

YouTube video

AxisGo housing comes in a variety of colors and sizes, depending on the iPhone model you use. It was first launched for iPhone 7, and currently available models cover iPhone 7 and 8, their Plus models, and iPhone X.

The housing features an ergonomic grip, so your precious iPhone doesn’t slip from your hands. There’s a functional touchscreen membrane to make sure that your phone is responsive even underwater. And your phone will be safe and sound down to 33 feet under the water surface.

AxisGo is available for $200, regardless of the model and the color. For some extra cash, you can get tons of accessories, too. You can add an optional pistol grip to the case for the additional $100. There’s a kit for mounting the case onto GoPro mounts and a removable flat port for attaching additional lenses. You can check out more accessories and details on AquaTech’s website. And if you decide to build your own iPhone underwater kit… feel free to share the photos with us.

nice but overpriced for casual users…200$ for the case only, another 200 for the dome and 100 for a plastic handle???

I was thinking the same. The handle is a $10 item from ebay easily. As long as it has 1/4 20 thread, then there’s no reason to pay those prices.
